Joseph’s Bio
Joseph has lived a life of twists and turns. It all started senior year of high school during a baseball game. An injury ended his playing career and put him on a new path. A childhood obsession (forecasting the weather) became a new possible reality. As old plans shifted, life was just starting to get interesting. After studying Atmospheric Science and Media (and a lot of green screen practice), it was time to go on live TV.
Joseph was hired out of college to the #1 news station in the Capitol of Michigan. Ultimately, this gig was not what he expected. Between the media manipulation, promotion of fear/destruction and self-absorbed personalities, Joseph had to make a difficult choice.
Do you continue in a field that is superficial and against the core value of truth or do you seek another path?
Joseph chose the latter, heading back to school to graduate with a B.S in Clinical Psychology. When he realized there was much more to psychology than what is “mainstream” and there was no use to further education, he decided to turn his focus towards working with individuals and beginning to explore this something-more that was missing from education.
His interest led him to continue research in the human potential, including mindfulness, the placebo effect, meditation, mind-body connection, NLP, neuroplasticity, and many other interesting subjects. After seeing our potential is limited due to stories we tell ourselves and patterns we obtain, Joseph became a certified professional coach after a vigorous 8-month ICF certified program.
Joseph has worked with a wide range of individuals. This includes coaching children with ADHD, teens transitioning to college, adults seeking improved mental focus/performance, and elderly searching for life’s purpose.
This experience, his personal “revelations” and research led him to the work of Swiss Psychologist Carl Jung. A rather synchronistic journey in itself (a story to be told some day). Through Jung’s work, Joseph was able to connect his findings and personal philosophy to Carl Jung’s ideas of individuation, synchronicity, the conscious EGO, the personal/collective unconscious and the Self.
Since, Joseph has focused his personal research on Jung’s work in order to bring it forward to our times today. In July 2021, he produced his first lecture series on The Red Book by Carl Jung. Since, he has accumulated more than 1 million views on the Humble-U YouTube channel.
In addition to creating and mentoring, Joseph is available for in-person or online speaking events and content collaboration. Contact the email below for more information.
