The Conscious Realm - Concluding The Persona đźŽ
•
Well. Another week flew by. I was going to wrap it all up quickly, but I love sharing personal experiences. Here is a personal persona I found about a year ago...
•
My first attempt at coming back to society after my deep personal work was a failure. I built this image, a persona, that I believed I could be a savior. I had all the answer. This persona looked beautiful on the surface. What I didn’t notice, lurking in the background, was a shadow.
•
I believed in love and service, and anyone who opposed was an enemy. My shadow, unconsciously, became enraged when noticing someone off-course, lethargic, or fearful. It built resentment, instead of acceptance, towards others.
•
I personified a “saint”, and built a shadow of dislike towards those who were opposite. I needed to do what I have been trying to get at with these jungian posts. INTEGRATE.
•
Integrating my shadow and persona was difficult work. First, I had to accept this new shadow I built when I thought I was “holy”. Secondly, I needed to accept others may be at a point I was at in my past. Lastly, I had to see others surface actions as a result from inner conflict. Accepting myself, accepting others, and becoming more understanding helped integrate the two.
•
This persona disappeared once the shadow was integrated. I didn’t feel like I had to be a “savior”.. it was refreshing. I understood everyone is on their own path, and instead of showing someone the way, I can be there to provide support on THEIR OWN journey.
•
This integration helped me come up with my coaching motto that I tell my clients...
“I am a tour guide without a specific destination, you have the destination and I am just there to help YOU along the way.”

Remaining humble is a big deal for Humble-U. It is a good practice to reflect on yourself and keep yourself centered and grounded.
